I'll leave a full review after I chew on it a little bit, but I really dig the vibes of this one. I see all of the team members are kind of cryptids on social media themselves, but I hope you guys make more, I think there's a lot of really good parts to this one, and while sometimes they struggle to coalesce into a greater whole, it's really fun to follow from start to finish
Very cool visuals. Like others have said, the transition was done really well to build up that tension. The dialogue for the most part was interesting, though the subjects themselves were kinda typical. Have to say, I wasn't really sure what the premise of the story was until I looked at the Content Warnings and people's comments. Still not too sure what the point was...
oh, wow that was a pretty intense descent into darkness. Slowly watching the cracks in their relationship widen until the spookiness comes to take them away
Pretty good! I’ve no idea how much of what happened is true or not, but the horror worked well and the relations between the two characters is interesting. There are a few typos and weirdness in the prose, but it’s not bad.
The visual portion is well done. The shifts in the background and the black/red transitions really work in favor of the story. Rafael’s sprites being sketchy doesn’t really fit well with it, though. Some of Marco’s lines don’t have a side image, missing expression?
The music and sound effects work well, nothing special to say.
Overall, a really nice story that’s maybe missing a bit of context. Good job!
Thank you soo much for your very detailed feedback! Our team appreciates it all very much and will take it into consideration when we start working on our first update. Really glad you enjoyed our game, hope you have a lovely week!
A little slow at first, but that is a given with how this story is meant to play. Once we get "there" things feels better and the music does a lot of help sell that. I think this game could use some polish and a bit more time with building the metaphor, but this was gripping towards the end. Great job here. I just wish we had more context to fully understand it.
Thank you so much for your feedback! It means a lot to our team that you enjoyed the experience and took the time to write us here. We'll definitely take those points into consideration when we start polishing the game in January. Thanks again and have a lovely week!
